basically stayed home and mugged cos i saw my term test 1 result and i was left totally shellshocked. so i tell myself and set a goal of not going online and to mug until i complete my test. i finally succeed in being discipline though there are periods of time when i was so tempted to take out my lappy and start turning it on.
tue was another routine mugging. went to befriending in the evening and we had the discussion for the BIG EVOLUTION. seriously, though it seems quite difficult but i have strong faith that the new batch of committee can succeed in doing it well.
wed was mugging day 3. tuition at night.
thur was the final mugging day before the test in the evening. though i thought i did well in the mugging part, but somehow i think i didn't perform any better during the test itself as compared to the first test. Hope everything goes on well.
my special term lecture aka "慢慢熟" buddy came back from taiwan and pass me a shirt. and there is lot of comical conversation along the way.
went to SRC thinking of meeting wilson for dinner but ended up helping the CAN ppl in the log movement. anyway, this is the only "help" i assisted for CAN this yr. LOL!
RVP meeting next. the final one. a nice and short one which symbolise the unofficial handing over to the new batch. i always believe in setting targets/ goals when u are doing something. when i took over last yr, i have a list of "to-do-things" which i choose to keep to myself. though i never really tell anyone in particular but along the way i try to push for certain things. to say that i achieve them all, i would had lied, and sad to say, i am really quite disappointed with the results too. Anyway, it is a lesson learnt and i wish the new batch a successful year ahead.
fri was the first official holiday after the special sem. headed to sch for the pre FYP meeting. did out the calculation and hopefully we can meet up with the mentors soon. as the days approaches sch reopening, i am getting more and more fearful of it. went to west coast market for porridge. it was quite nice and really, sometimes, i feel that i should go back there more often, it brought back so many sec sch memories. hanging out at the old ginza playing virtual strikers, "tuition" at the macdonald's every sat, and of cos the near 'O'level mugging with xh.
headed to west mall to go for steamboat food buying. went over to KL's place and i left early. before leaving, they hand me the present for my bday.( my first bday present this yr :).) i shall cut off the details since i have gotten over it and shall not blog it down.
went to meet SW to assist him in his dry run. this is the first time i walk so long since army. really terrible SW. never provide welfare for ppl. Not even a drink from him. what a good friend he is. Anyway the route is this: first we went to clementi arcarde where we had some fun playing the basketball game. look who is the pro? actually both of us sucks!! haha.
next we went to the bowling alley followed by west coast plaza(againz, twice in a day!). next we walked to west coast park before taking a bus to science center. Mr T-rex and I!!
from science center, we walk to chinese garden and there we went for a mini tour. Quite along time since i being there and seriously it is super eerie. finally the long walk ended with me walking home from chinese garden.
sat was the day i kind of anticipated. actually had kind of lowered my expectation after i heard the BBQ was off. anyway, we headed to sembawang for dinner. my first celebration of the year and i got to thank vincent for coordinating everyone who came like charles, hong, wx and cathy. as usual with sop missing from the list, their first reaction is "dun be disappointed hor, ur number one guest PS u." LOL!! i expected her not to turn up since in the first place i ask her not to go if she is busy. so why would i be disappointed?
the place we went for dinner is a wonderful place. nice chicken wings and the grills food are damn nice. the pricing is not really ex, with 6 of us having main course and a tower, it cost 155 bucks only. anyway, it was really a short "celebration" cos charles had to go for his church choir practice while vincent went for mahjong at his friend's house. So the rest of us headed back to vincent's place and started to rot the evening away before we cannot take the boredom and start our own mahjonging. NO MONEY involved and guess what i 自摸 10 times that night. and out of these 10 times, 5 of which are 3 tais. HAIZ!! when no money is involved i tend to win but when money come into play, i lost. Anyway the 3 of them are all newbies. JY came at 11 plus to pass me the present and really touched that he came down specially to pass me and send me home :P
really thankful for all ur presents guys. Even though i PS u all for so many times, you guys still never outcast me. 谢谢你们 :D
sun, went to JB with the sec sch ppl. our first oversea trip. LOL! and what we did was eat, KTV and eat. the only sad thing is, i never get to eat my seafood. haiz. never mind, NXT TIME!!!
this coming wk will be one of my most dreaded moment. No, not becos i am going to be older, but becos i know that when it end, a new academic year arrive and it will be my last academic yr before i venture to another new phase of life.
i feel kind of down recently. it is those sort of 无法用字体表达的心情. just wish this feeling go away fast cos it is affecting me alot.
