the last goodbye of the many they said. And they really did as promised, ending the concert at 0015hrs
and we finally take a proper pics with the stage after numerous tries. HAHA!
it was a concert which showed me lots of interesting stuff.
we sat in a row of 3 different generation, on our left was a couple of elderly and i mean REAL ELDERLY not the fake one (ME!!). they should be around 60 yrs old. On our right was another couple closer to the mid thirties range. So in a row of 6, we got 3 generations. it seems funny cos when we did stand and get high with the crowd, the elderlies sat there. fortunately the slightly younger pair did get affected by the highness and stand up too.
slightly more to the right was 2 single seats and mind you they are occupied and they really go to the concert alone. When you think they they will just sit and watch, you will be wrong. they get so high that they just join in and go crazy :D but this is what a concert should be, shouldn't it?
the concert was great. i believe those who bought the most ex ticket will surely enjoyed themselves. let alone ppl like me who got it free. So it was truly one which everyone just let down their hair and high with their music.
the emo part is also touching though there are times when i think if it is show gimmick to allow the fans to be more attached to them. But i doubt so, if a non-fan can feel the sincerity when they said those emo stuff, i believe that it is real. Being real is what's most important and will gardner more friends or in this case, fans, right.
oh, said so much but i missed out the most important stuff. the theme of the concert. DNA! all of us know DNA is part of our body and what really define us. So the Mayday members begin with a boring life which they dislike so they decide to steal the DNA of the several famous people and pass it to 5 other kids to allow the world to become a better place.
if i was to say i used to like Mayday, after this concert, i like to say i totally obsessed with their music and 'live' performances.
really got to thank mich for asking me along and of cos her wonderful ex-collegue who gave her the tixs.
Now back to reality.
marcus finished his Prelim, really wonder how he will fare. just pray his recent hard work will have a bit of result to spur him on for the final hurdle. though now, i feel PSLE is just too difficult to fail but standing in his shoe, i believe it is still a hurdle no matter how easy it will be. First major exam after all.
FYP finally has a bit of news. i find it bad that i always has to depend on others to get in touch of the prof for me despite the fact that this is a individual report and assignment. But i got no other choice since the prof wanted to contact us through a single source. Anyway, there are times i think the rest of us misunderstood Jin's position and intention. I'm sure he himself is as anxious as any of us to get started but somehow we being selfish beings, just think of our own problem and not his. Hopefully with the long awaited meeting in the coming wk, thing will get onto a better note.
i have done up my training schedule for the end of yr run and i have got myself a running buddy though one who won't be running side by side with me. But i just need someone to say, 'let's go for a run' and i think i just need that extra pull to put on the running shoes. hopefully this is the beginning of a fitter CG.
i guess that's all for now. my brain is dead. i just need a nap after little sleep previously.
