after the pic descriptions, here come the descriptive part. this trip was quite a meaningful one. still remember the last time i went there was in 2002, for the OBS course. whether things had changed or not, i am unsure since i really have little memory of the place except that i RAN while others cycle around the island. LOL!
anyway, after walking the recommended scenery path, jin and i got a bike each and we headed to chek jewa. along the way there, saw wing comd. damn scary with that look on his face. somehow i guess he kind of recognise me. only thing is we didn't stop and chat.
the ride to chek jewa is tiring. nearly die from the slope. however, at one of the shelter, i had a good nap which was quite refreshing. it is really a peaceful place. One to just relax one's mind.

after the trip, here are some personal thoughts.
-i would not had stepped onto ubin had it not been the SS mod.
-though i like nature quite alot, i always find it difficult to get people to go.
-when you don't learn it, you take it for granted. all the stuff i seen today in ubin had been some of the stuff i seen during my 1 yr stay in tekong. Yet then i didn't bother to care about them.
-A good quiet place to relax one mind is one where there is no noise or sound except for the sound of nature.

nxt up, any of the remaining sites available for visit. LOL!!

as i had relax and appreciate the beauty of nature for a day. i guess it is time to hit the books again. Time to "jia you".

the finacial crisis seems to hit not just me, but a few others too. let's us all overcome this crisis together. By spending wisely and save more!

something i 'kop' from sebas! and it's for all leaders or aspiring leaders to ponder on.

    What is leadership?

"Superior leaders get things done with very little motion. They impart instruction not through many words, but through a few deeds. They keep informed about everything but interfere hardly at all. They are catalysts, and though things would not get done as well if they were not there, when they succeed they take no credit. And, because they take no credit, credit never leaves them."
