    weekend finally!!

a shagged wk had finally passed!!
so glad that the weekend is finally here despite the fact that i will still be super busy.

first of all, i got to say i broke an all time record. was in lib for all 5 days in the first wk of sch. usually, i won't be in the lib till i fail my first test but this sem, i was there for 5 days. second is, i wanted to eat home but sadly it didn't happen too as i stayed out late for all 5 days.

alright, the past wk has also not been good as mention in previous post. However, i guess, as the time goes by, i am getting better as i am finally "seeing some light".

the presentation is finally over, and despite not knowing the result yet, i still have high hope that we will get it. even if we don't, i believe like what jin say, the spirit in the team is really good. A good team spirit is what will bring a team go far no matter what the obstacle is. and one more thing, wearing formal is weird but wearing formal with tie is super weird. when i get the pic, i will post how cork it is though i got to admit, it does look smart.

csc outreach board is half done after days of delaying and a few bunders here and there, but the result is not bad. got to thank the befrienders who stayed and helped and of cos Jin who stayed to help despite having the chance to go home early.

met up with darrice FINALLY after months of clash schedules. taught him as much as i can for his upcoming exam and guess my next 2 wks will be teaching him as well. really surprised at his change in attitude towards study. Playful during sec sch and now paying full attention while studying. what a big change. maybe becos i hurled millions of vulgarities at him the moment he make mistakes. guess i am less patient than i thought i was. He came late for half and hour and the first thing i say is one full sentence of hokkien vulgarities. and whenever he make simple mistakes i leave him no chance to think and just scold him again. perhaps, i do take it more serious than he does which is why i do hope that the next 2 wks i am going to spend teaching him will be well spent.

was chatting with Jin the other day, saying that we didn't speak a word of vulgarities during the 3 mth hol due to the frequent outings with CSC peeps and how fast we speak one when we are with the ME peeps. i was so proud of myself that i have not spoke and i say it does not involve ppl around u but yourself. just seconds later, i spoke my first vulgarity for 3 months. Conclusion: the ppl u mix with do affect your speech. LOL.

"brother" was heard frequently this few mths. whereby guys casually call each other brother. However, i do take this word quite serious and i don't believe everyone should be brother just because you know him. so what i am saying is, if i do address u "brother", u are really one good friend to have. So Jin, our friendship doesn't worth one can of drink ok. wahah. JOKING only.

ok, here my whole wks of schedule including the weekend.
sat: tuition, collection of SBR race kit, Dare Outing.
    sun: 04/06 Rec lunch, Tuition
    mon: outreach, tuition
    tue: lesson, befriending
    wed: lesson, tuition
thur: lesson, Crash course for darrice
fri: lesson, Crash course for darrice
    sat: Crash course for darrice
sun: SBR, Crash course for darrice

hmm, so packed schedule. what i want and need to stop me thinking of stuff.

omg, class 95 is playing one song now. which does mean something to me. how sad it is to listen to this now. But time had passed so let's move on.

one quote in the NUS diary which meant a lot to me now:

"When one door closes another door opens; but we often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door, that we do not see the ones which open for us."
    Alexander Graham Bell

lastly before i end my post, SG had won at least a silver medal from table tennis. a grp of "AT" wearing the reds of SG with the national flag embroiled on the chest. Proud of them? perhaps, but definitely not as much if a true born sg won it. Tao li got in 5th for 100m butterfly. again another "AT". wonder when can a sg who is truly born and bred here can make sg proud. Hmm, but thanks to them, locals do have something to be proud of as we do make our mark in the sporting world now.

alright, rest time as i welcome the busy weekend.
