over the weekend i am damn busy, prep for both my E5 and HK stuff with a few trip here and there.
sat morning went back sch for a game. not really good and i guess Jin is pissed off with me for misplacing numerous passes. but its ok. just a game and its a learning experience.
rush off to queensway to get the Kahuers' jerseys and of cos to get my bag for the camp. bought 1 duffel bag and 1 shoe bag. both for 67 bucks, a big burn in my small pocket. it's kinda rush to buy so though i didn't really like it, i do not have much choices as well.
and another rush back home to put my stuff before heading to meet zsa2 for Singapore Flyer. the trip was quite alright for the initial 10-15 mins, where u get to see the wonderful view of Singapore landscape minus the construction site of my future "playground". We were also lucky to see the ongoing NDP rehearsal. however after 10-15 mins, with similar view throughout, u just kinda get bored and hope the things just end faster. i'm quite surprised of the actions of one family who was in the same capsule with us. the youngest daughter make everyone "panic" when the flyer stop for a while, by saying whinning away, thinking something had happened. and their dad was the coolest, spending 30 plus for the ticket just to sit inside to read a magazine. damn funny. lol. all right, some pics for your eyes. btw, this is a place to go once and just once only as it is definitely NOT worthy of going more than once.
sun, wake up to pack it up for the camp, and to buy SAF towels for the freshies. went with wil2 and while at chevron emart, we saw this girl holding 5 towels, while her bf carried nothing. wil2 commented i should get a girl to come with me so she can help me carry all my 10 towels. btw wil2 only help me with 2. when the guy proceed to the cashier to ask for MP rank, we concluded MP are "gu nian" must ask girl to carry stuff for them. oh yar, 1 saf towel is not light. and imagine 5 for the girl? damn, that guy is really an idiot. speaking of the towel being heavy, now i wonder how am i going to carry all 10 towels, 14 jerseys, my own bag for the camp? hmm. Not really heavy, but it is so bulky that it seems like i just went to the market.
the rest of the day was spent lazing around, packing my stuff.
EURO 08 final concluded just hours ago. I lost 2 pratas to Jason after a last min bet which i took Germany, but i won big in the end. wahaha. remember when Euro begins almost 20 plus days ago, i said i hope Spain will win which make me put my 50 bucks faith on them since day one, and guess who save my life? Mr Torres, the same player i mentioned in the same post. Look here for recap. the Germans are not playing as well as they should and there are only moments of brilliance from the team. Spain however,created more chances and should have killed the match off with a second goal which never come in the end. However, i am pleased with my own prediction and Spain finally shedding their under-achiever tag while Mr ballack continue being the "nearly man"- 2002 world cup runner up, 2 champions league runner up, 1 league cup runner up, 1 BPL runner up and now 1 Euro 08 runner up. all right, a break from football before the BPL and leagues begin again.
now Wimbledon tennis, Sharapova is out, and sadly Ivanovic is out too. so the top 2 woman tennis players is out of this grand slam. nothing worthy to watch now i guess. wahaha.
ok. that's all for now as i rest a while more before heading the beginning of E5.
