    Rat Yr Day 3

let continue with the tradition explanation of the day:

Day 3 and 4: The third and fourth day of the Chinese New Year are usually considered inappropriate days to visit relatives. The Chinese believe that it is a day when arguments happen easily.
Families with an immediate kin who passed away in the past 3 years will not go visiting the homes of others, as a sign of respect to the deceased. The third day of the New Year is dedicated to visiting the grave of the deceased relative instead. This may have led some people conclude that it is inauspicious to do any house visiting at all on this day.

first up, happy 23rd birthday wei ching and choo hui.

second, one min of silence for our beloved ambassador of the zoo, Ah Meng, who had passed on at the age of 48 (human age of 95) on 8 feb.

now for my day yesterday. had another late night or can say early morning.
met up with DARE guys, total 10 of us- benalda, jin, json, wt,wm, jw, jen, helyn, jH and myself of cos. went eat kenny roger's (5 of us only) before the 10 of us went to watch Kung Fu Dunk (quite crappy, but it's funny). after the show, the 9 of us went to the river hongbao to take a walk. had fun at the amusement park especially the coin machine. went back to the food street beside esplanade to have our late late supper. the 3 easterner left leaving the 6 of us to go xin wang and crap for a while longer before heading home at 4am.
