loads of tutorial to clear but damn. i feel lost when i look at them. looking back at the notes didn't help at all cos' none of them is similar. haiz.
let's talk a bit of crap while i try to find my mood to study again.
met up with 04/06 recs- wilson, gl, chun an, andy plus peggy(she not my rec but she will be one rec soon. lol.) supposed to meet at 1130am and damn it, none is punctual. luckily i smart enough to leave home late and went to funan to get my stuff first before meeting them. if not for wilson call, i would still be at funan looking for my stuff. wilson and i walk the whole city link to suntec and back to city link and marina square before all of them arrived at 1. can u believe it? they r late for more than an hour but it's ok since i already know their "pattern".
went jack's place for lunch. it's chun an actual bday and andy just past like 1 wk ago and gl's coming tml so when we went to eat, we didn't plan to make anyone pay for all but u'll nv know since the only female say something and chun an pay for us. actually wanted to "burn his pocket" but being his ex-PC, brothers now, wilson and i decide to take pity on him and order the set meal and ended up all have set meals. lol.
can't remember what i had but heck it. it's just food.
the 3 friends- from rec to commanders, i see their growth. lol. bday boy in the center and "brother" wilson. too bad our nxt "brother" gl is out of pic. wahaha.
throughout the meal, we all just suan each other and of cos the one who is going to enlist when the rest r going to take their "pinky" this year. yes, peggy is enlisting in april/june. U better pray hard i don't know your company. lol. or else i ask them tekan you. Better don't go ULYSSES. wahaha. cos that is where i tekan your brother and bf. wahahahaha.
ok. after lunch, supposed to bowl but the lanes are full so we went to see what movie is available.
nthing much available and we just pick the one that is showing at the moment and haiz. we chose ramboo 4. long wen joined us and we trick him into treating all the popcorns and drinks.
ramboo 4 is a stupid show. if i had a choice of choosing other show, i would have choose others. first, it's gross. bodies can be seen flying across the screen, ppl being tortured, and blood splurting out of the bodies when being shot. second, it is unrealistics. one man who manage to reverse the whole scenario and most funny part is, he is only controling an MG.
but thinking back, this may be bross and unrealistic movie but is one which is closest to what sg can see in battlefield. all the bloodshed moments. only the regular-to-be peggy finds it nice. no wonder she sign on.
after the show, we went seperate ways, and home i go to catch the last bit of australian open mens' final. the young serb won and he is the one who impersonate maria sharapova. haiz, got to give it to him for bringing laughter to the crowd and yet winning the australian slam.
it's nice to see them again and to see that some of them is still together as friends is great. who would have expect that after 1 yr as their PC, we still can come out and go crazy together. would nv forget the days we trained together( ok, is they train i see.) and of cos the nights spent sleeping in sect 3 cos they think their bunk got ghost. lol. the best part is the weekend spent outside camp, we still went out for dinner and the most crazy thing is wilson buy one whole car boot full of tibits for sect 4 lasting the whole wk in camp. and of cos, the food would nv last the whole week and by wed all of them would have been in their stomache.
First batch of Recs, after i commission as an officer. First batch to be trained by the inexperienced me and of cos the first batch which i ever punished. all of the memorable stuff as an instructor come from this grp of recs.
all i can say is: 04/06 Recs is the best lot i ever had throughout the army. though my last batch came close to emulating them. lol.
