*scrub scrub*
after a 3 posts in a row, i went 'missing' for a wk. Initially wanted to continue being 'missing' since i am 1) lazy to blog, 2) nthing much to blog, 3) don't feel like blogging and 4) too busy to blog. But since i got REQUEST TO UPDATE, i shall take a while out of my "busy schedule" and do a little updates!

firstly, i am well and alive. though got a slight flu last fri.

secondly, UPDATES of what i had been 'busy' with. not in sequence!
1) met up with industrial prof for a nice chat overthe FYP
2) met up with sch prof for another nice chat over FYP
3) had tuitions, tuitions, tuitions, and tuitions for 4 out of 7 days last wk.
4) had only 1 tuition for this wk so far after 1 cancel just when i reached his doorstep :(
5) attended AGM which means i had officially hand over to the new committee.
6) attended my first CDAC event in the children's day prep.
7) went to butter factory for a super impromptu crazy night which i totally regret.
8) met up with mich with her friends for a birthday dinner.
9) completed my first term paper and half way thru my second which make me feel so proud of my efficiency cos they are all due in NOV!

third, thoughts!
1) FYP is on the way! it's like finally the scope is CLEARER now. look, i mean clearer, so it is relative to the previous meeting and means there are parts which can be make clearer to the poor students handling them. i guess the next 2 wks will be the one that is going to squeeze all my creative juice out, if i ever have any.

2) tuitions are alright generally except that, i feel like i paying attention to one, while going thru the motion for another. Do i blame myself? Not really, cos the kid is a F**Ker. always stare into empty spaces during lesson, cancel lessons when i am alrdy on the way, and getting any available EXCUSES as REASONS to escape doing WORK! so in short, i just wish him all the best and may all the good luck fairies, angels or whatever cheer for the other kid who had change for the better and make me go down 4 times in a row!

3) the 1yr ++ "befriender" experience is going to come to an end soon, with 4 sessions left this year.
i guess i did learnt and grown a lot during this period and being a volunteer is indeed fun. the nice memories of mixing with the youths and seeing them grow. last yr, the obvious change was in one big boy. Now this yr, i can see the change in another big girl. i believe it really takes time for a person to change for the better. personally, i see myself doing lots of intersting stuff. from trying to know a younger stranger and get them interested in being ur friend, to one who had to be "humilated" due to the nice custume show. i think i mentioned this before during the yishun camp, if not for the kids/youth, i would not had been so sporting to be "fashion models". At the end of the day, the thought is not about oneself but for those who you are helping :D
the best memories will definitely be the halloween celebration. Though i was totally "humilated" by 2 WJs (weijian and wenjin) who were my fashion designers, i think i enjoyed seeing the smiles on the youth at the end of the day. I guess i got to be proud of myself for suggesting having a Halloween Celebration.
mid autumn, and christmas were nice too especially it took time and effort to try and think of games to get everyone involved.
along the way, i am pleased and thankful for the people who had given me their support and encouragement, especially when i start whining how things are not going on well. if not for you guys, i think i would had given up hope.
the only regret i had during the 1 yr term as a comm member is that there are still stuff which could had been done better and of cos, how i wish i got a more capable co-workers :X However i believe the new batch is well prepared and shall be able to continue and bring the program to another level. (suddenly i felt like i a writing acknowledgement! LOL!!)

4) i had decided to step out of my comfort zone. knowing people from all walks of life, all with the same purpose, to fulfill the wishes of children. Nope, i am not talking abt GAW but my first external activit- children's day party. i can't make it for the actual day, so the only contribution i can provide is to assist in the present wrapping for the children.

5) it was wrong but seriously i can't blame anyone, can I? the only thing i can tell myself, it is not the first time for the 2 of us. :X

6)i am so glad with myself. to be able to complete my term paper so early kind of delighted me. HAHA! i guess when u feel the pressure to perform, you tend to outperform :D 1.5/3 term paper completed! YEAH!!!

7) i feel kind of stuck in between. sometimes i am at a loss to decide what is right to say. i just hope work and friendship will not get in the way of each other. may the differences in work remain in work. really hate to see the souring of friendship in this manner.

lastly, i think i had blogged long enough to entertain everyone. guess i didn't shortchange those eager readers who had been viewing my blog frequently :D with this, i shall continue with my "busy" schedule which begins with the continuation of present wrapping :)
