    NICE :)

a lazy saturday afternoon spent napping after a breakfast meet up with luke followed by tuition. the evening was spent finishing up the AGM report before i make full use of what is left with 3 days of free EPL action by starhub :)

man u vs wigan, a no brainer cos man u should win easily but who can forget they just sold their 30 goal a season ronaldo as well as the hardworking tevez who must have eaten energizer battery daily since young and they just lost to burnley who in my FM09 had been my league runner up for many years.

the first half was a pain to watch. no fluency in the passing, finishing not critical enough. and fortunately there is someone call foster who manage to save a certain goal. deep in my thought, i pity Rooney, he seems to be the only player running around chasing everyball and of cos trying to be the inspiration for the team. the only other player whom i am satisfy with will be Fletcher.

the second half began as the first with none taking control. ex wigan player Valancia fell to the ground after being "punched". Wigan fans seemed to be pissed with that and somehow ever since that incident, the background of the match will be cheers followed by boos and cheers followed by boos. i was amused by the instant change in the noise made by the crowd when the ball is being swept around. however, the boos was silence as fast as it begins. A cross from the player they booed and one perfectly placed header by mr SHREK and it is 1-0 :) moments later, Lazy man scored too before Shrek added his second. game over but the floodgate just open as the once liverpool wonderboy opened his scoring before the Ronaldo-wannabe score from a free kick to complete the rout.

the game is not pretty, just this performance doesn't show that man u are title winners but at least there are sign that they can still play football. it takes time to adapt to life after the 80million man, but surely they will overcome it.

last season, i mentioned Rooney is going to be nxt idol after giggs, i think he just cemented his place again. 3 performances, 3 solid one. though he didn't score all the 3 games but his consistency in the every game say it all. who cares if he look like Shrek :p
last season poor signing, mr lazy man, Berbatov is climbing up my impression list. though he left me feeling disgusted with his laziness to run, this time round i think he is of some use after all.
Owen score and the happiness in his face say it all. he is a proven product, just that he need time and games again.
and the unsung heroes, Fletcher seems to be improving ever since last season. Valancia did well to create the first goal even after the booing. Vidic just show how much United miss him when he was injured and of cos Foster who saved well and seem like a perfect replacement for old man Van Der Sar.

i am amazed with Ferguson. In a way, we have similarities (boasting time). he placed faith in players as shown in Owen as well as not signing any other players and claiming the current crop is good enough. But when it is time to change or make his presence known, he do it as shown time and again with sales of all the previous No7 men.
how similar are we? i also dunnoe. LOL!!

anyway i believe the start of premier league is a good one cos i feel so happy that my sat night is filled again with Soccer, Tibits, Drinks and of cos good companion :)

nxt game: Arsenal vs Man U. i believe Arsenal is strong now and a United Loss seem expected but let's just hope for the best as i am supposed to support my team no matter what right?
