recently after seeing quite a few FB grps of various classes appearing in the highlight of my FB page, i decide to start creating groups for my previous classes. I began with DARE. it was quite easy considering most of us are still in contact quite regularly, and soon the number of members just increased, and through there, the DARE created a few events and passed msges through there. A good success of the group i supposed.

i was invited to my pri 6 class grp which was set up by an ex classmate. sadly, the group didn't got off well and inside is just a pathetic 6 person. me and 5 others who till now still keep in contact since they are from the same sec sch too. So basically i do feel a bit odd to be inside.

after seeing a bit of success and failure in such grp, out of the blue, i decide to create one for my sec 4 class. it is kind of tricky. though i got most, if not all of their facebook account, but to really say constant contact, i guess only 2 or 3 the most. So when i start the group, i don't expect much success. however, to my surprise, now inside the group are almost half the class and photos had start pouring in and comments too. So it is a great start ya!

i am beginning to dream big now. perhaps, soon, we can have one class gathering?
the last time someone did organised one was like 2002? 1 yr after we grad. and the turnout was no good. the organiser felt kind of down cos he was expecting better participation but after being encourage by the teacher, he look at it in another way, at least half the class did attend, while half of those who didn't, did have valid reason of working. So in a way, it is quite encouraging.

5 yrs later, i "forced" WC to plan one. it was supposed to be a joke, but surprisingly, she really go and plan and the turn out was roughly the same considering she nv invite the whole class :P

2 yrs from now, christmas day. fortune of wealth. 7pm. the whole class are supposed to meet. a 10yr pact which we all made when we grad. How many will turn up? it is really interesting to know.
when we set the pact, we don't have friendster, no facebook. So the idea was to see how everyone will be like when we had lost contact for 10 yrs. Now with the technology advancement, it had sort of taken away the surprises but at least we can remind each other to turn up.

however, another 2 yrs is a long wait. i am thinking, why wait, let's have one this yr? perhaps this might come true, if someone is proactive enough. maybe the one who organised in 2002 can do it again. :)
