Anyway just to let you guys had a little peep at my lousy design for the shirt. Each cell had to come up with one and the decision will be made on Mon by the committee vote. I don't wish mine to get voted as it is really quite ugly. LOL!
Anyway, just a little explaination of my idea for those who are interested! the name of the committee formed the shape of the gems, with the project name SLP VI in a circle. the idea is to had everything form into a ring. though the gem shape is obvious somehow the ring is not. Anyway, to continue, the top 3 names, PD and 2 APD are at the top with the various cell heads' names in the core of the gems. The sides consists of the various assistant name as they are the structure of this whole project. the 2 elderly show that this year project is for the Elderly home while CSC logo is the base of the gem to show that we are from CSC.
actually i was quite impressed with myself. didn't really give it much thought when i start to draw it. Showed mum to ask her for her opinion and somehow she seems to be impressed how well i managed to smoke my way with the above idea. LOL! whatever it is, i did just for fun since i was so BORED!
after SLP Handson, head home for dinner. YEAH! finally ate at home after like so LONGGGGG!!!!
went over to their house to slack since they just came back from holidays. can tell that the recent incident had taken a toll on xh, really 'xin tong'. But who to blame? nv had i seen her look so 'out of colour' in the 19 years of friendship. really hope she can get over it fast. xy did told me something which make me even pissed with M. sometimes, things are just carried too far and how i wished that F**ker can wake up his idea!
while "nuaing" at their place, we watched tv show. the food variety show as well as Air Force One.
I had watched air force one for at least 5 times. i think all of it on tv, but i still find it a very meaningful show. it really portray the loyalty of a person.
a simple example was the terrorist, how he told the president's daughter that he is not a monster. He betrayed his own belief, own principles for the sake of his country. to others, it might be bullshit to say this, but if you see this in another point of view, what he say is true. It really is a form of loyalty.
another example was how the bodyguard use his body as a shield for the president when the terrorist shoot at him.
interestingly, a simple question came to my mind which was asked often in the 2 yrs of NS.
would you stayed when your country is at war?
As an officer cadet at that point of time, of cos you expect the answer to be a resounding YES. however a little survey done within the platoon ended up being only 8 out of 27 said yes. Sad to say, all 27 of us commissioned, 2 become regular and yet these 2 are not inside the 8!
now let's continued on to the next topic on leaders. (wow, i am too bored that i am blogging so much nonsense!)
I had just finished the book i borrowed from Jin. Citizen Soldiers. in 2008, i had read 2 world war 2 book, somehow it just make me realised the different leadership styles. i should just use Band-Of-Brothers as an example. one of the style is Leading by Fear. i totally understand it as a trainee since my wing comd is the one who strike fear in us, so to say i have first hand experience is not wrong. second is to lead by example or to gain the respect by respecting others. this is one i totally trying to follow. had practice it for 4 batches of recruit and the result is all the same. HIGH MORALES no matter what.

people might disagree with me and think i am crazy but i seriously think Hitler is one good leader. How he manage to get one whole country to fight for him is already very amazing and to do it for a wrong cause make it even more remarkable.

just want to imply again that i admire the way he lead and inspire his people, NOT HIS ACTION! just in case some idiot out there think i want to follow his footpath of creating havoc!

he is another guy whom believe in hard work and the way he manage to lead the allys in overcoming the german make one see his determination, though at the end of the day he is not even on the battlefront but all the heros are never one who are in the frontline anyway.

his last sentence of the quote meant especially true to the local officers. We are selected through a 3 mth training and a 4 hr computer test. the nation hope lies on us should there one day be a need to be activated. Definitely there will be people who are bad. But just pray that when it's crunch time, people do live up to the name!
