A LONG JOURNEY: the day i almost flare up!

today i understand the feeling of Jin, when he was so called "picking up" on a kid by pulling his collar during an event earlier. i almost did the same, only this time my "opponent" is a 15 yrs old girl instead of a kid. was supposed to bring the befriendees along to CSC day and let them be a volunteer with each befrienders to attach to one of them. However, they don't like the idea of splitting and ended up i got stuck with all 3. i totally didn't agree to the idea of having the befriendees as volunteers but with the OC insisting on it, we got no choice but to agree. Anyway, the final straw which almost make me flare came at a time Kit arrived, so in the end it sort of cool things down internally since Kit can take care of one of them, which is why i ALMOST but never flare.

on the bright side, i got to admit. one of them had matured tremendously and even took care of the kid we are "assigned to". Seeing this, it make me feel that the idea of letting the befriendee become a volunteer is not that bad after all. Btw, the reason why i put " " on my assigned to is because the kid is NICOLE!! she was in my group but i was not supposed to be in charge of her but one elderly instead. however, she insisted to stick with me and we have no choice but to swap. Another good thing today is, NICOLE never call me what she called me during yishun camp. Instead she call me "kor kor". something which i finally made her change. LOL! and she had become more obedient, offering to throw our utensiles away after the buffet. however, I guess this will be the last time i will see her.
