    Rat Year Day 15

    Day 15
The fifteenth day of the new year is celebrated as Yuánxiāo jié, otherwise known as Chap Goh Mei in the Fujian dialect. Tangyuan, a sweet glutinous rice ball brewed in a soup, is eaten on this day. Candles are lit outside houses to guide wayward spirits home. This day is celebrated as the Lantern Festival, and families walk the street carrying lighted lanterns.
The fifteenth day also traditionally marks the end of the Chinese New Year festivities.

with the last day of CNY, it also means the end of my CNY knowledge intro.

next, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO WILSON! (04/06 rec)

and next, CONGRATULATION SINGAPORE! a picture say a thousand words.

we have made it as the hosting country for the first edition of the YOUTH OLYMPIC 2010. like what PM had say after the reveal of result, it's the people effort including the numerous foreign companies that SG has made friends with. the road has not end yet and in fact it has just begin as we work towards building the infrastructure and the nation to welcome the world in 2010.

ok, guess that's all for now as i head to hit my pillow. ( i know it is early but my eyes are closing fast.)
